I've noticed a lot of prologues in most recent romances, but I've always heard that prologues are for lazy people who want to backstory dump. Do you think there's a good way to prologue or should I just stay clear?

The only place I definitely would NOT start is with describing the weather or as an alarm clock is going off! Those usually vie for the WORST places to start stories, and the "it was a dark and stormy night" sort have even led to the creation of the Bulwer Lytton Contest. ;D

IMPORTANT—- Did you get my contact form and then reply to your newsletter? I’ve tried to contact you twice over the past month now about one of your courses to no avail. Sorry off topic but desperate to be seen/heard.

Firstly, I really wanted to extend my thanks and appreciate your informative videos.. especially when I’m struggling to get my act together. 😅 I’ve got all good intentions to do something about this desire but there’s soo much involved, which people don’t realise, so I definitely have an a new appreciation an admiration for writers out there 👏

Do you develop the protagonist’s love interest the same way you do the protagonist? I would love for you to make a video describing this. Or do you know of one already made that I could watch?

I would like to see a video on writing "Coffee shop romance" or a romance chick lit book that revolves around my male lead's favorite coffee shop and the lady barista who pours his coffee every morning.
