I was reeealllly young, 13 in '93 when I started reading historical romance. I think Johanna Lindsey was my first too! There was a long stretch of time that I stopped reading fiction, but recently came back to it, and have been hooked. It is great now too that there are book channels such as yours that I have come across to share this love of the genre! Thank you!

Johanna Lindsey got me into historical romances too! I picked up A Pirate's Love at about 13 and have been hooked ever since.

When I was eleven, I stole a copy of the then-new The Kadin by Bertrice Small from my mother's nightstand. I never looked back, and I regret nothing.
