My fav student teacher romance is "To Professor with love" by Linda Kage. And i really like it, because the heroine is the teacher.

Dark Notes is such an amazing book. Definitely a 5 star read. One of my all time favorites / most memorable 😍 Voyeur is also soo good LOVED!

Loving Mr Daniels is one of my favorites. Along the lines of student/teacher … this rec is student/guidance counselor Sweet dandelion. I have not yet read but Kulti is a student/coach and is on my tbr this month.

i LOVE a good student/teacher romance! i can't pick a favorite but i highly recommend rebel by rebecca yarros and playing with trouble by chanel cleeton

Sin and Discipline by Lily White is a good dark student/teacher but it's similar to Dark Notes so I suggest you read it after you read Dark Notes.

I'm excited to read this Taboo Book Club pick! I got it on my kindle already and may buy the audiobook, too.
Also, you may like some yaoi with Student teacher relationships. Hey Sensei, Vanilla, and Private Teacher comes to mind. Some do get smutty, too.

This is one of those tropes that walks the line for me. If one person is underage, I get too icked out, like you said about high school and age concerns.
Wow, seems like most of these have a lot of other baggage as well as the 'taboo' relationship. 💚

I have realized only recently that this is a trope I enjoy. Definitely can be a fine line though. And definitely checking out some of these recs! I can recommend Grading Curves by Naima Simone. He is her tattoo artist, they have a connection, and then he attends her college class. It's a steamy novella, so light on the plot, but still good!
