Have you read the Guild Hunter series by Nalini Singh? it's a pretty awesome series…in my opinion it's better than the Psy-Changelings series…but one of my favorites is the one you mentioned in this video

I would say Act your age Eve brown by Talia Hibbert is a great example of this trope as the main male character Jacob in this usually hates almost everyone and finds it hard to get close to people because of his autism (except his best friend and aunt) but for some reason he and Eve just get on so well together (as she also has autism but she is not initially aware of that).

Jessica you should definitely check out Duke of Sin by Elizabeth Hoyt if you haven't! The MC is not broody but he doesn't trust anyone and is his own person. He is a perfect example of an antihero!
