If youโre looking for other funny contemporary romance to get more into the genre, Iโll always recommend Again, But Better by Christine Riccio, The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren, and Today Tonight Tomorrow by Rachel Lynn Solomonโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ
the last graduate (the second book from scholomance) also comes out this month!!!!!!! im so excited, i still lose my mind every time i remember the first and last sentences of a deadly education aaaaaa :,)
You should try Foundryside by Robert Jackson Bennet. It has one of the best magic systems I've read in a while. Another book with a young female thief as the protagonist.
Love your reviews Cari, now i need to read The Binding ๐ I had a great reading this August, I read 3/4 Heartstopper comics and Any way the wind blows by Rainbow Rowell and now I'm currently reading A summers sonet by Belen Martinez (who's a Spanish writer)
I occasionally switch between fantasy (my favorite genre!) with contemporary romance. I would like to pick up contemporary romance for the funny and witty banter. If you new to contemporary romance, I would like to recommend book from Christina Lauren and Tessa Bailey. Christina Lauren's book more focused to the characters' background with all the angst, while Tessa Bailey more focused into the characters' emotion and funny dialogue, and yeah for her book just be aware of the smut:). Hot and Hammered series from Tessa Bailey totally worth checking. Finished in one sitting, easy read, and funny!
PS – thanks to the amazing uncarley, I was inspired to hide my likes/dislikes on my videos and WHOOOOA is it great for your mental health (creators – I highly recommend you do it too!) but YouTube still counts likes/dislikes as engagement so I'd really appreciate if you gave this video a thumb! Thank you always :''')
