A great one would be Big Little Lies. One of my favorite domestic thrillers that isn’t too cheesy!!

I'm not surprised you enjoyed reading thrillers because romance and thrillers tend to be more fast-paced.

Really enjoyed this video. I also love romance and thrillers! They’re probably my 2 fav genres. I’ve been getting into thrillers more over the past year. Ruth Ware was my introduction. Hers aren’t domestic or super gritty, but damn can that woman write suspense. You are on the edge of your seat the entire time reading those. And her audiobook narrator is beyond amazing. Besides her, got 3 recs for you that I think would be kinda what you’re looking for: 1) Lies She Told by Cate Holahan. It does have cheating but I think from what you’ve described what you like in thrillers, it has a ton of other things of what you’re looking for. Definitely worth at least giving a go. 2) I Let You Go by Clare Mackintosh 3) He Will Be My Ruin by KA Tucker. Also, I’m sure you know her, but Books And Lala here on youtube loves thrillers, is a seasoned reader of them, and has a series where she reviews the last 3 she’s read. She hasn’t steered me wrong yet and has really helped me branch out. If I can take the subject matter (she can read most anything & I def have to check for triggers first) in something she recommends, I will usually like it.
