Great idea for a video. I have read a book called "Blessed in Darkness" by Joel Osteen. He is a preacher from Houston, Texas. I read this during the start of the Corona Virus when NYC had shelter in place. It helped me with trying to understand how to deal what was going on and how to deal with my feelings of fear. Best part I bought for $2 at the Salvation Army store before the quarantine. Highly recommend.

Ok now I want to read Winnipeg even more! I used to run half marathons! Then I got injured and turned to weight lifting to rehab and ended up getting deep into that instead. But I loved running!

I loved reading From Lukov with Love and Winnipeg is definitely next on my list! I’m a runner too but not long distance lol. That is so awesome though. Good for you!

Ok also, I knew I had heard of Amy Harmon and just looked her up on GR. She also wrote “What the Wind Knows”… have you heard of it? I just bought it like a month ago bc it sounds right up my alley!

Hi Carrie! (sorry if I'm spelling it wrong!) Loved this video. The Wall of Winnipeg and Me has been on my list to read. I haven't read Tillie Cole yet but bring tissues and life perspective had me running to add A Thousand Boy Kisses… well, I actually added each of the books you mentioned to my TBR. LOL! What amazing inspiration to start your channel. New Subscriber here!

Kerry it really is like a chain effect from that woman’s collection. You have inspired me to read more older historical fiction through showing her collection and also to start collecting some older historical romances of my own. I remember you said in one of your earlier videos when showing the collection that a lot of these books won’t be seen anymore unless they have newer editions published or are published as an ebook. That really hit me and made me want to read more of the older historicals. Thank you for sharing these videos! ☺️
