I'm so glad this turned up on my recommendations! I don't normally read romance books, but I recently read the Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and really enjoyed it, so I would actually like to read more in that genre. Thanks for all these recs! Crushing On You sounds really good

Have you ever read Susan Elizabeth Phillips' Hot Shot? If not I definitely recommend it … here's part of my review that explained more "originally this book, in it's hardcover/paperback formats, was written in 1991 so most of the book is based in the 70's and 80's which is when women were just coming into the work force (more so then before) and taking on bigger roles that others might not have been ready for them to do. Plus, this book (based on what the author writes in her 'author's note') is based prominently on fiction, about the IBM's and Apple's of that time period (how they all got started — etc.) while set in her non-fiction world." I LOVED that novel. =0)

The glasses glare is nowhere near as noticeable as others who have a GLOWING RING reflected in their lenses, so, do you! 😀

Wow–these three all sound great! (oops, and there's another novella after I wrote that!) Thanks for the look into a very specific corner of the woman-nerd-romance category–need to try it out! 😀

Yes, I agree! It's so important to see romance heroines in different industries. As someone who started reading romance at a young age, it had been inspiring to see heroines pursue exciting (and unfamiliar) careers.

This is an amazing category! Thanks for doing this; I love protagonists with interesting jobs. Once read a book where the heroine was a ship captain, which was def unique.
