Great reviews! Gah, I want to read that Eva Leigh book, just from the description it sounds entertaining but I've tried 2 other Eva Leigh books and haven't liked the writing style. Might still give it a shot. Definitely adding the Cat Sebastian book to my TBR, that one sounds so cute!

Sounds like it was mostly a good time with the romance you read including lots of historicals.

Two of my favorite priest romances are Forgive Me Father For I Have Loved by Tianna Laveen and Sacred Waters by Lydia Michaels. I've tried that Sierra Simone one a few times, but it's not for me.

I read The Headmaster after hearing Bree talk about it last year and I really enjoyed it, I did figure out what it was all about pretty early, but I really liked the journey the story took.

After rejecting them for so long, my first foray into regency romance recently was The Beast Of Beswick by Amalie Howard (the hero has extensive burn scarring from war and likes to play cricket with his dead father's ming pottery [!], and the heroine is very determined antiques expert) which I really liked, then it was a victorian romance with Jennifer Ashley's The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie (hero is autistic coded and probably has PTSD too, and the heroine is a very slightly older and wonderfully sexually liberated widow) which I 😍! These are my first two aristocracy historicals and now I know there are some out there that I can enjoy or even love. All the ones you talked about are on my radar too, as are a few by Beverly Jenkins. TFS 🙂
