   Great recommendations! A couple of other favorites off the top of my head are Devil in Winter by Lisa Kleypas (at least the first quarter lol), The Rogue Not Taken by Sarah Maclean, and Scandal Wears Satin by Loretta Chase. 🙂

   Aren’t both of the Siren’s books in Trish Albright’s historical romance duology also adventure? I remember you liking her Siren’s Secret book and that one was like The Mummy right? ☺️

    i am LOVING these trope rec videos! i have like over 400 historicals (lol) on my kindle and forget what books feature what tropes and these have been sooo helpful.

    a week to be wicked is SO good, one of my all time favorites!

    the rogue not taken by sarah maclean is such a good one too! the heroine hits her sister’s cheating husband and he falls into a pond at a party and everyone’s mad at her so she tries to leave by getting a ride with the hero but he refuses so she dresses up as a footman and stows away on his carriage. and, of course, he figures out that it’s her and assumes she’s trying to force him into marriage but she can’t stand him. and then they’re forced to be confined in the carriage together all the way to scotland! it’s so fun and heroine is one of my all time faves.
