She should definitely get on to writing more books. ust check out Courtney Milan myself 😀 Lola Perkins July 27, 2021 at 4:21 pm Julia Quinn's Bridgerton series. it is light and funny. Lola Perkins July 27, 2021 at 4:21 pm Anyything by Eloisa James too. She is incredibly smart and it shows. MadDogRebecca July 27, 2021 at 4:21 pm As always, I just LOVE how you talk about the books you read. I always walk away with at least one recommendation from you. Have you read "A Bride Most Begrudging" by Deeanne Gist? It is historical and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Shannon Ridler July 27, 2021 at 4:21 pm I highly recommend Michelle Willingham's Forbidden Vikings series: To Sin with a Viking and To Tempt a Viking. I don't read a ton of historicals, but when I do… I like Viking settings and she's one of my favourite authors. Serena Lawson July 27, 2021 at 4:21 pm If you like Christian fiction, I love Lynn Austin books! Tara July 27, 2021 at 4:21 pm Honestly, if you don't mind books with religious themes (I'm not down for the Christian section of the bookstore, but these are so worth it) you should check out Jody Hedlund books. My favourite by her is Captured Love, it honestly felt like a beautiful epic romance, it was just fantastic. Another historical romance I really enjoyed was Lips That Touch Mine by Wendy Lindstrom. Just some of my favourites. Bettie Turner July 27, 2021 at 4:21 pm I've had Edenbrooke on my Amazon wishlist for years… I keep waiting for the price to go down… I'm glad you liked it. I gotta check it out. …and I can't stand historical romances that don't know anything about how society worked during that time. Good Lord. Put a Finish on It July 27, 2021 at 4:21 pm Okay, so it's not a book. Have you seen the film Sweetland? It's lovely. Early 20thC mail-order bride story. Musicbookoholic July 27, 2021 at 4:21 pm I always find it unusual when there are people who read adult romance and are offended by explicit sex. Hamda Arif July 27, 2021 at 4:21 pm For some reason, you remind me of Moaning Myrtle from Harry Potter. 🙂 I think it's the way you speak. It's actually quite interesting to watch😊 Zombie Eats Books July 27, 2021 at 4:21 pm I feel like every time I love a book and then go on to goodreads for similar books, I always end up somewhat disappointed. I tried to do that with ACOMAF and it didn't work out so well for me. : ) I'm going to have to check out Edenbrooke. All I need to hear is "Jane Austenish." Leslie Moise July 27, 2021 at 4:21 pm It's an older book, but My Warrior's Heart by Bettina Krahn has an actual plot/conflict and wonderful characters. RuthBlog Pople July 27, 2021 at 4:21 pm will check out some of these romances 🙂 A Bear and a Bee Books July 27, 2021 at 4:21 pm I have those two Julianne Donaldson novels on my Goodreads TBR. Sounds like maybe I should bump them up a bit. 😉 Jo Ann May-Anthony July 27, 2021 at 4:21 pm marquess mar kess viscount vi count. Leave a ReplyYour email address will not be published.
