I've recently gotten into Paranormal Romance again. I read some PR YA books when I was younger, but am only now getting into Adult Romance.
I don't know if you've read it, but I'm reading Burn For Me by Ilona Andrews right now, and loving it! It's a Magic Users romance.

All of these series are on my radar. I read and really liked A Hunger Like No Other, Halfway to the Grave, and the Fever Series. I really want to read Succubus Blues as well because I loved The Vampire Academy. Maybe a buddy read sometime?

I love The Smoke Thief by Shana Abé, No love triangle. I love this series, it's so good! A Dragon race that is losing it's ability to shift. Females who can shift are very rare. So when they find a female run away who can shift in London they capture her. So Alpha so good! Definitely a must read series!

Blood and Chocolate!!! Omg i remember reading that as a kid and loving it so much, but gosh I remember nothing about it other than the comparison of becoming a werewolf to becoming an adult. You’ve made me want to reread it now.

I loooves the Once Burned series. It’s amazing. I love the heroine and Vlad is just awesome. I’ve read the books several times, and I will read them again. It’s just chef’s kiss perfection

I loved these recs! Mercy Thompson is my favorite series! I also love the Alpha and Omega series, but Mercy is my #1. I remember loving Blood and Chocolate back in high school. I really enjoyed the Once Burned books, too. Yay for more paranormals going on my TBR!! 😍

I think you would like the "Vampires in America" series by D.B. Reynolds. Also a series about vampires, witches and daemons it's the "All Souls" by Deborah Harkness.

I adore JR Ward's BDB series! Her books were my introduction to paranormal romance, and then Kresley Cole (of course!) and Lara Adrian's Midnight Breed series. Just found your channel looking to get into paranormal romance reading again. You are lovely 🙂

My first introduction to adult paranormal romance was Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunter series. I recently decided I need to re-read them & read the new books. But there are sooo many! I love the BDB series and didn't know it was problematic. Tho, I'm not nearly as sensitive as all the 20yos on booktube. HOWEVER, the later books in the DarkFever series (once they weren't about the main couple anymore)really pissed me off and I couldn't read it. IIRC the heroine was a young teen and & the hero was an old immortal who was verbally and physically abusive to her at the beginning of their relationship. WHAT THE F?? I remember going to goodreads to see why people weren't talking about this.

Holy smokes you and I read such similar books!! PLEASE read JR WARD BLACK DAGGER BROTHERHOOD series. She also has a spin-off that's AMAZING!! Also her angel series! LOVE her writing style!! I've recently picked up on a new series from Allyson James! ❤❤❤ The heroin is Janet, a Stormwalker. 😬 It's def a must read!! I'm now looking up all of the books you mentioned. I have to be reading at least 3 seperate series at a time. And I ADORE series that have more than 20 books in the given series. Rarely will I read a stand alone. Have any other series??? Long series??? 😁

My first paranormal series was the Argeneau series by Lynsay Sands. Loved like the first 10 then not so much, but still have fond memories of her stuff. Kresley Cole's IAD series is excellent. Fingers crossed for her to start writing again so we can get more books. Love Hunger Like No Other, Wicked Deeds On A Winter's Night, MacRieve, Lothaire and Wicked Abyss. Suzanne Wright is another one that just can do no wrong as far as I'm concerned. My favorite is her Dark in You series. Knox and Harper are one of my top 5 favorite book couples. C. P. Rider is a newer find for me, but she is excellent too. Nalini Singh's Guild Hunter series is a favorite as is Patricia Brigg's Alpha and Omega series. Ilona Andrew's Hidden Legacy series is not only excellent, but has my 3rd favorite book couple in it too. 😍 Finally, The Others by Anne Bishop is such an incredible series. Plus Meg and Simon are my all time favorite book couple. I reread this, Alpha and Omega series and Hidden Legacy(1st 3 books-cause Nevada and Rogan) every year.

I found your channel a few months ago and this was one of the first videos I watched. I've since read the Night Huntress series (due to your recommendation) and I absolutely loved each book! I had never even heard of the series before watching your video. When I saw 6 of the 7 books (plus Eternal Kiss of Darkness) at my secondhand store, I immediately picked them up! I ordered the other NH book and First Drop of Crimson from Thriftbooks and spent the following week completely absorbed in them. I will now forever trust your judgment on all things paranormal romance. I love your channel so much!
