My favs include All Boys Aren't Blue by George M Johnson and Unicorn by Amrou Al Kadhi 🙂 I do want to consume more though and at the beginning of the year I was good at doing 1 non-fiction a month but I've lost track recently 😛 Ronda I July 30, 2021 at 12:13 pm I love hearing about non-fiction books. Now I want to read Personalities on The Plate, too, that sounds really good. I've been a vegetarian for 10 years. irene July 30, 2021 at 12:13 pm I mainly read memoirs when it comes to non fiction but one of my favorites is naya riveras memoir, I also like essay collections about peoples lives and some of my favorites are stay sexy and don't get murdered and calypso! This video was a good reminder for me to try and read more non memoir non fiction books tho so thanks for that haha 😀 Kristin Kraves Books July 30, 2021 at 12:13 pm A lot of the nonfiction books I read are memoirs or true crime, but I am also drawn to non fiction about women and/or nature. Have you read Radium Girls? It's a popular one but it's brilliant. I also really loved Why Fish Don't Exist by Lulu Miller. One of my favourites is The Invention of Nature by Andrea Wulf. Sinah July 30, 2021 at 12:13 pm ohhh weird, niche non-fiction? say no more, you gotta read The Feather Thief if you haven't already!! it's about a flutist who one day breaks into a museum to steal feathers and it looks at many different aspects and uses of those. it has a lot of historical background, talks about environmental issues and biodiversity and the crime aspect of it is also super interesting and absurd👀 Eleanor Cook July 30, 2021 at 12:13 pm Non fiction is all I want to read at the moment this video is ideal Magdalena Zajac July 30, 2021 at 12:13 pm Yesss, nothing like some niche non-fiction reads to distract me from quarantine! Curious to know what you'll think of We Are the Weather after you get around to reading it. I own a copy but didn't get around to reading it before I left the UK and got a pretty mixed review of it from my brother. I'll have to finally pick it up and see for myself though! Butterflies On My Bookshelf July 30, 2021 at 12:13 pm I've been wanting to read Bog Bodies ever since you mentioned it in a previous video, but I'm having a hard time finding it 🙁 I feel like I've been more interested in nonfiction lately. Thanks for all these recommendations!
