Great video! I happened to stumble upon the filming of the new TV series of "A Discovery of Witches" in Oxford. If you happen to ever watch it, I can honestly say it's a very realistic representation of Oxford.

I tried to read the Crescent City book because I'm a SJM fangirl but man those first 100 pages are a lot to slog through, I gave up.. now I'm feeling inspired to try it again haha

I don’t think you should have given away the romance between Arthur and Linus. Too much of a spoiler. 😬 I hadn’t heard that talked about anywhere else. I read the book and I enjoyed having that part come as a surprise.

I think Parviz Ghazi Saeed's books are the best fantasy stories ever written. The books are awesome and every moment and every chapters of books are incredible. I would definitely recommend his books, because it keeps you reading without ever wanting to put the book done. By end of the books you come to love the characters and want to read more. If you haven't read any of Parviz Ghazi Saeed's books you are missing out on the best series https://www.amazon.com/s?i=digital-text&rh=p_27%3AParviz+Ghaazi+Saeed&s=relevancerank&text=Parviz+Ghaazi+Saeed&ref=dp_byline_sr_ebooks_1

I absolutely LOVED One to Watch. I didn't think I'd love it that much, but it was a page turner! My favorite romance in a fantasy is the Girl of Fire and Thorns trilogy, Hector and Elisa. It doesn't really start until the second book, though. I also loved the Boonsboro Inn Trilogy by Nora Roberts. Each book follows a brother. They are renovating this historic inn into a bed and breakfast. Nora actually later built the actual inn described in the books, and you can go stay in it. So cool!

I agree with you on A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire! I didn't think there was that much of a plot and it was constantly just infodumps woven into the story that I got so tired sometimes having to process all that.

You should not wave the books around where viewers can't see them. I like to make lists of books and find it difficult reading the titles.

if you liked wicked fox for the female lead being a little dark and a little dangerous, if you haven't read to kill a kingdom by Alexandra Christio I would 100% recommend it. I believe it's almost a little mermaid spin off but one of the two characters you follow, Lira, is this super awesome siren princess who steals princes hearts (literally). My most recent read, absolutely loved it!

A Discovery Of Witches is….not good. The heroine is weak and thinks of killing herself, the boyfriend tells her how inept she is and how he cannot be around her. She whines through the whole book and the boyfriend is downright mean to her at every interaction. I am surprised 😮 you would recommend this to any readers.

Fire was the best in the Kristin Cashore series. Bitterblue was really good but holy crap it was dark and sensitive. It was really amazing because it answers all the questions the reader ever had. The history behind everything is very sad and intricate
