I really loved Home Before Dark and Charlie Travesty 🖤 I’ve read Penelope Douglas’ Fall Away series and loved it! I’m hoping to read more of her work including Birthday Girl 😊

I love Birthday Girl, i think i read it for 2 days as well 😂 I just finished reading Punk 57 (this is a bully romance) by Penelope Douglas but i didnt like it as much as birthday girl and now im reading the most taboo controversial book of hers Credence ( i think this is a 4 way romance? not sure yet, a girl named Tiernan, her uncle and 2 cousins)

It’s weird for me because I loved dark matter but recursion wasn’t my favorite? I don’t even know why. I don’t really remember much about it. But it was definitely unique. I think I just didn’t really connect to the characters and didn’t love the lab setting

Pausing the video just to comment that I listened to the City of Girls audiobook based off your recommendation – it was such a surprise because I never read stuff like that. Just seeing the cover makes me tear up, I read it at such the perfect time in my life. I was struggling a lot during the summer of last year and the quote "the world aint straight" always pops into my head now as a comfort-habit. Ugh, I will forever be thankful I read that book.

    Hey
Need help!! Should I buy hardbacks or paperbacks? I'm planning a mega book haul but I can't decide. If its hardback than I have to reduce the number of books but paperback I can buy many. Help me decide

i actually ended up DNFing home before dark…literally got like 200 pages in and NOTHING had happened. I'm the type of person where I need something that's just creepy right off in the beginning and it unfortunately didn't work for me. Is it worth going back and finishing it? or does it only get interesting at the end?
