I read it a few months ago and it is my favorite romance of the year. Maybe all time. I love Olivia Dade but this is my favorite so far. Listen With Precious July 28, 2021 at 11:56 am Cinnamon rolls! Thanks 🙏🏾 for sharing!! Morgan July 28, 2021 at 11:56 am The Witches Wolves novella by Ellie Mae MacGregor has poly relationships and I would say of the 2 guys Bastien is definitely a cinnamon roll. Shakespeare and Such July 28, 2021 at 11:56 am okay half of these were already on my tbr but now I need ALL of them 😍 cinnamon rolls are the superior love interests, I don’t make the rules In Love With Reading July 28, 2021 at 11:56 am I have honestly never heard "cinnamon roll hero" before but I'm now going to think of you everytime I read about a nice guy character that I love, everyone has their own tastes but the alpha male, banging on their chests, possessive, macho thing so doesn't work for me much rather have the nice quiet smart guy character. Geek is the new sexy! Wilde Book Garden July 28, 2021 at 11:56 am YES I love cinnamon rolls! my absolute favorite romance trope is hate to love but if I'm not reading that dynamic (which I also like to feel equal between the two leads) I definitely prefer cinnamon roll heroes. I really love Freddy from Cotillion as an example! And this one isn't from the romance genre, but the love interest in The Enchanted Sonata by Heather Dixon Wallwork has some cinnamon roll vibes and is such a great character!I don't really have any recs specifically from the romance genre (since I know you've read Cotillion), so I'll have to keep an eye out! Bonnie Stevens July 28, 2021 at 11:56 am I would recommend "Vision in White" by Nora Roberts. The hero is an adorable nerdy math teacher and the heroine is very prickly because of a toxic mom. Also, I would recommend you check out author Susan Mallery, she writes a lot of cinnamon roll heroes (not all, there are some alpha males). Michelle DeFields-Gambrel July 28, 2021 at 11:56 am Yes! Love me a cinnamon role hero! Love them so much I married one! Looks like a logger on the outside (right down to the red flannel shirts), but one of the kindest people I've ever met in my life. When he's not looking like a logger, he wears tweed jackets and looks like a college professor – I guess the beard can go both ways! LOL! Just Key July 28, 2021 at 11:56 am I've always LOVED cinnamon roll hero who is sweet, but nerdy ever since I started reading romance and realized it was a thing, haha! That's always been attractive to me in a hero when I read both Rafe & Blind Date with a Boyfriend I was like oh my goodness if I could just squeeze them in a hug. Pair a cinnamon roll hero + books…YASSS!! No, I need to definitely read Dani Brown sr_eadings July 28, 2021 at 11:56 am The Bergman Brothers by Chloe Liese, the most adorable Cinnamon Roll Heroes , and the second one has a prickly female character! Jennifer Singer July 28, 2021 at 11:56 am Rosaline Palmer Takes the Cake! It's a rom com twist on the Great British Baking Show TheWordN3rd July 28, 2021 at 11:56 am My favorite are the cinnamon rolls that are a little crunchy, a little burned on the outside but then you get to know them and they are the softest. R. K. Stumblingbear July 28, 2021 at 11:56 am Loathe at First Sight by Suzanne Park. The romance is a B plot in this, but the romance feels very realistic. And I really really liked it! Bookwormdystopian July 28, 2021 at 11:56 am Yess Cinnamon Roll Heroes!!! Cynthia Holmes July 28, 2021 at 11:56 am I just finished reading get a life dani brown it was good 😊 Ravenous Reads July 28, 2021 at 11:56 am Teddy from "Second first impressions" by Sally Thorne is another cinnamon roll you should check out.
