Victoria Grace the jerk face and Heart of a Royal are both books I want to read! And I just started Dust after reading Peter Pan for the first time- and yes, Peter Pan is actually kind of dark πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚

"It's so refreshing to see a middle grade series with a happy, normal family." That's just sad how true it is.

Oh yeah, I remember you talking about Twinepathy! I really want to try that one.

Counted Worthy is one of the first books I added to my tbr when I got goodreads, but I always forget about it lol.

I still haven't read Tainted, but I can't wait and I hope it's good. I hope you like it too!

I thought Court of Swans felt younger, but I think the last few of the Hagenhiem books felt like for a younger audience too.

I read Vanderbeekers book in December and it turned out to be such a pleasant surprise. I have since ordered the sequels but they are taking so long to arrive!

I have some YA Christian recommendations! (either Christian stories or they're from Christian authors so they're clean)
Daphne's Questionable Bet by Sara Jo Cluff, Harper by Jo Cassidy, Dragon Blood by Mary Beesley, When the Sky Eats by K. Weikel, Katharsis by K. Weikel, Breaking Order by Catherine Kopf, Meraki by Anna Augustine, The Eyes on the Backs of Moths by Louis Alistair (Breaking Order and The Eyes on the Backs of Moths are two of my favourite middle grade books)

Oh ALSO a LIBRARIAN HISTORICAL BOOK! A Strand of Hope by Amanda Tero (book one of The Librarians of Willow Hollow). Highly recommend, plus the rest of the books in that series.

This video was so much fun to watch, Lindsey! I love how much you love books and how passionate you are about them. So many amazing books (how good are book hauls!) and a few I really want to track down now to read. Thanks for that! After following your reviews for a while now, I'm really intrigued to hear what you think of Heart of a Royal and whether you like it or not πŸ™‚ Nice to see so many other favorites in your pile too. Thanks for taking the time to chat about books πŸ™‚

Such a fun book haul! I really enjoyed Seeing Voices in particular, and I'm looking forwards to reading Taylor Bennett's series!

And I 100% agree on the Amazon thing! It's very handy, but I . . . don't like supporting them when they are actively hurting the publishing business. Thank you for your recommendations on where to get new books: I didn't know about a lot of them before and I'm excited to check them out!

I saved this video, because I want to get some of those. I trust your judgement. What guideposts series do you recommend? I have The Church Choir Mysteries and The Secrets of the Blue Hill Library. I'm just starting to collect Secrets of Wayfarers Inn and thinking about Mysteries of Lancaster County. There is also Savanah Secrets. Any input from you regarding ANY Guideposts fiction series would be helpful. I want to get A Rumored Fortune and The Librarian of Boone's Hollow and check out a few others. I checked youtube and there are no reviews for guideposts fiction series.

Hello, Lindsey,i've watched a lot of your videos and i appreciate the fact that you are doing these videos, because there really isn't anyone else who talks about Christian books and morals, but i do have a question: you mentioned that Junie B Jones is a guilty pleasure read for you, and that you wouldn't read Peter Pan because he's 'a brat'? i've read both junie B jones and Peter Pan, and have found both to be quite wholesome and clean as the driven snow. Isn't it a bit odd to say a book as clean as Junie B jones, about a 6 year old who does regular six year old things(and even though she's rude sometimes, she always gets reprimanded, as she should, and often times isn't even aware that she's being rude) and a book about a boy who is just adventurous and fun loving, should not be read?(I'm even confused as to how he is a brat, considering a large part of the book focuses on how he puts the other children before himself despite how much he wishes to keep them with him, and also you must consider that he never had any parents and was raised by birds)

"if you've been on Christian bookstgram you've seen this book"

Me who doesn't have Instagram: "It's gonna be Dust!"

I actually really recommend you read Peter Pan first! There are a few inside jokes (?) that make a LOT more sense after reading Peter Pan.
I may or may not have read Dust then Peter Pan, then Dust again within a couple months🀣

Court of Swans was SOOOOOO good! I really enjoyed it and I can't wait for book two!❀️
