After reading the first few chapters of The Dare I had to DNF because I could just tell that I wasn't going to enjoy it :/ So far nothing has beat The Risk for me! The House in the Cerulean Sea has such a beautiful cover! I need to get my hands on that one

I just read How to Capture a Duke by Bianca Blythe on my kindle. It was such a good hate to love historical romance. I think you would really enjoy it:)

I totally agree with your thoughts on Xeni! It was so good. It deals with death, grief and self discovery among other things. I loved that in the midst of grief Xeni and Mason found something neither was looking for but that they both desperately needed. I loved the way Rebekah Weatherspoon interspersed humor so it felt more feel good and upbeat despite the themes it dealt with. I loved it and cannot recommend it highly enough. Thanks for sharing! I've got a super fun recommendation for you. If you're looking for an engaging, old school historical romance with a dash of mystery, can I please suggest The Silk Vendetta by Victoria Holt?

I’m still soooooo pleased you read Ransom. That book is still one of my OG historical romance faves, and that hasn’t changed in years!
