   I know I'm over sharing but I had a very serious hard drug addiction ages 17-22 and I was never close to my mom growing up, not really her fault she just worked a lot. Now she's the first person I call, good news or bad. Laughing with her like that means so much to me.

    I work in the book publishing industry designing covers. Here is how these covers come to be:
    1. Nine times out of ten it’s a stock photo. Cheaper and faster than doing a photoshoot.
    2. Nine times out of ten the book isn’t even finished when we start the cover so we’re honestly just guessing what’d work best.
    3. A lot of the people on these covers are actually multiple different people (stock photo models) frankensteined together with Photoshop. That’s how they get perfect features every time. We will literally photoshop one girl’s hair onto another girl’s face, or one guy’s abs onto another guy’s arms.
    4. When there is a photoshoot and we do hire models, the photoshoots are SO FUN. The models and photographers usually do some dorky photos we put up around the office for laughs because we know the covers can be cheesy. Being a model for these is definitely a dream job but most cover models have to do other kinds of photoshoots too to keep their career as a model. If you have someone too recognizable on the cover, you get a Fabio situation, and modern audiences don’t necessarily want that. They want to feel like they “meet” a new set of characters in every story. It’s part of the fun. So if you get on too many covers, then you’ll stop getting hired for these shoots so people won’t start recognizing you

    My first view on your channel; the algorithm pushed me here from bluegrass gospel videos; so here are some random thoughts.
    
    I just watched a pretty young braless woman smiling at me, really laughing and having fun; but flashing her wedding ring and left hand constantly, then her husband joins in.
    
    She had to hide or photoshop out her ring for the photos.
    
    I could not marry a woman who holds a pickaxe for 7 seconds and complains how it hurts her shoulder. Please check the scene in Seven Brides where Adam sees his future wife for the first time.

    The models for Amish romance novels are not really Amish, so they actually need models for those.
    
    Rumspringa: They still live at the parents’ home, they just have more freedoms to not follow all of the rules that apply after they join the church.

    Love the idea and your vibe!
    But I was a bit disappointed when you included gender stereotypes "men can think about nothing with a beer and sports and we women do that with romance novels". We're all different and all genders can enjoy things this way.
    Just wanted to give some input on this, otherwise I love your video!
