I Read The Highest Rated Romance Books on my TBR! Were they good??

okay your comparison between Beach Read and The Simple Wild was so funny because I just did a video reading a bunch of romance books for the first time and those two were my favourites of the bunch that I read!! And I agree, they have a lot of overlap but I think they did such a good job balancing the heavier topics with the lighter rom-com scenes. I haven't ever considered trying fantasy romance but Radiance sounds really good!!

You make such a good point about the similarities in Beach Read & The Simple Wild. I’m only about 20% into Beach Read, but I totally see it. And I adored TSW, so that makes me feel super pumped to keep reading this. Both definitely have that “so happy, but also rip your heart out, hurt so good” feels.

I enjoyed this video, glad you enjoyed the books so much. I have Beach Read in my TBR stack, definitely going to read it soon. I would never think to read a book like Radiance, but am definitely thinking about it now, thanks to your review of it here! Which leads me to a suggestion for you, if you enjoy reading about romances between different species or races, you may want to watch the series Star Trek Deep Space Ninem it has a great relationship between two different species, as well as a lot of other great storylines throughout the series, including what the different races like to eat!!

Book 3 apparently follows a different couple. It will follow Serovek and Anhuset 🙂 So I would just read the 2nd book now.

I don’t even have any suggestions for you, please just keep doing what you’re doing 🙌🏼🙏🏻 I typically read thrillers, thrillers and more thrillers. You got me to read “Lovely War” and I’m now obsessed with everything about it. It’s a contender for my favorite book of the year, WHATT??!! Historical fiction, for me that’s crazy!!! Now, I just got my hands on “The House in the Cerulean Sea.” I hope my experience with this one is the same ❤️❤️

You should watch an old movie called The Enchanted Cottage. It’s one of my favorites it’s about this couple the woman is plain and the man is disfigured and it’s all about what happens to them in the cottage. It is black and white but it’s so good.

Cool video idea! I feel like I wouldn't do to well with this. Things that others love in mainstream books I usually find annoying. However, I love that you tried this! Giving things a chance is always better than not

I’m onto the second book, I think you should continue the next book Eidolon because their story keeps going and the 3rd book is more centred around the side characters. So u could read Radiance and Eidolon as a duology.
