I saw this video after a bunch of other book rant videos. All of the others were "she's not like other girls", while this one is "stupid things happen to this girl over and over again". I'm not sure which one is better.

ok listen when I was ELEVEN this random lady just gave me this book about this celebrity-obsessed thirty something who moves to LA and hooks up with celebrities (a wildly inappropriate gift, although I just realized she probably got a random book off her bookshelf and threw it at my face) and I am so glad that I watched this video because now I have a way to get rid of it and sow the seeds of chaos by passing on the curse to someone else

passivity aside, I liked that the main character at least knows when to quit and just leave or take herself out of the equation which I thought was good for her! unfortunately she also then subsequently makes terrible decisions and the plot makes her have to meet these people again
