Yay! So happy you posted a long video! Love your reviews and your taste! Have you thought about putting your books in order of how you rated them starting with the lowest and ending with the 5 stars? Also check out Bre's channel: In Love & Words. She does that in her wrap ups and she is just awesome!

Iโ€™ve recently read the GearShark series with the first book being #Junkie by Cambria Hebert and enjoyed them all. Mostly m/m romances with one m/f. Loved Him & Us also. Top Secret by Sarina Bowen & Elle Kennedy was also great. (m/m)

Wow, so many books! I donโ€™t read much M/M romance but I did binge the fake boyfriend series by Eden Finley (KU). For those who can handle a really difficult book, Untouchable by Sam Mariano was so good to me! (Consent, assault) I do not use the word problematic for a fiction book, if an author goes somewhere you can go for the ride or not.

    What a great month!

If you are really interested in 'diverse' romance, try some TJ Klune who is one of my favorites by far. All his books (MM) no matter the genre are fantastic but my favorite is Wolfsong which is the beautifully written start of a 4 book series. Annabelle Costa for disabled heroes, Melissa Brayden for FF, Kennedy Ryan (2019 RITA winner) for all-round excellence over a number of incredibly well researched and discussed issues.

Also try looking at the backlist for Alyssa Cole, Alisha Rai who have been writing for years and Beverley Jenkins who has been writing for decades even if they have only recently become 'big' on booktube.

There's also Talia Hibbert, Alexis Daria, Cathy Yardley, Adriana Herrera, Courtney Milan, Nisha Sharma, Mia Sosa, Alexa Martin, Soniah Kamal, Christina C. Jones, Vanessa Riley, Ruby Lang, Zoey Castile, Brittainy C. Cherry, Sonali Dev, Jackie Lau, , Mia Hopkins, Helen Hoang, Uzma Jalaluddin, Tif Marcelo, Jasmine Guillory, let alone the ton of prolific self published authors we never hear of like Pepper Pace, Tianna Laveen, Xavier Neal, Tawa M. Witko, Olivia Gaines, Latrivia S. Nelson/Welch… I could go on, but there's obviously more than enough to on here already! TFS ๐Ÿ™‚

Serpent & Dove wasnโ€™t steamy like at all ๐Ÿ˜ฉ it had only 1 sex scene that was so non descriptive that I even found it boring. I was a bit disappointed cause I expected more sexual tension between the characters and also more growth from liking each other to loving each other. Suddenly they were each otherโ€™s soulmates and I was like โ€œdid I miss something?โ€

First of all, kudos to you for reading 30 books in a month, that is truly impressive! I read 7 or 8 and it was a good reading month for me, but you are truly on a whole other level. I really loved Red, White & Royal Blue, I thought it was really funny and orginal! It's honestly one of the best books I've read this year. I'd definitely recommend it!! Carry On was also really great, I agree with you that the enemies-to-lovers thing really worked here, and I can't wait to read the sequel. I've heard differing opinions, but I still have high hopes ^-^

I've recently read some books by Mariana Zapata, and unfortunately I just don't think her writing is for me. I read From Lukov With Love, and in my opinion, it was… just Bad. I thought the smut was SO so awful; once the writer starts unironically using words like "anaconda" to describe someone's penis, I am OUT. Also I thought Jasmine was incredibly childish and her dislike of Lukov wasn't really based on anything, and their nicknames for each other were repetitive and kind of annoying. Honestly don't really understand why this is rated so high on goodreads.

Also, side note, people who have been abused and/or traumatized as children aren't "mature for their age", they're traumatized and should be protected. I'm not saying age gap romances shouldn't be written, it is a free country after all, but I don't think we should be romanticizing them, especially not when one of the romantic partners is underage.

Youtube recommended this video to me. Even though I don't read smutty books or romance books often, I am a new subscriber because you are so pleasant to listen to, well-spoken and nice. ๐Ÿ˜Š
