Another book I would personally recommend for this trope would have to be The Failing Hours by Sara Ney itās apart of the douchebag series and itās my favorite book out of the rest and they are all stand alone but I absolutely love love love the main characters and their dynamic and yeah totally recommend if youāre into this trope

I felt the same way going into Up In Flames. Then when I started it I just felt so much for her character that it was like she hadn't been the villain the whole time.

The fallen crest series by Tijan is also a good I hate everyone but you/step brother/sister. Loved Mason & Samantha it follows them through high school and after college

Laura!! I know you probably arenāt really a Wattpad reader anymore but even the playing field by I believe thinking of thoughts is so amazing it gives me after vibes but if Iām being honest I maybe even enjoyed it more! Engines to lovers, toxic – to so extent, sports romance, collage romance itās so good!! I cannot rave more about it and there is a second book about another couple with similar but completely different vibes at the same time itās so good!

Completely out of the topic .. but I recently read a book called āeven in the playing fieldā on wattpad like randomly cuz I was bored .. and I was loved it .. Itās a sports romance .. with so much drama , romance and all .. I loved it so much .. so I guess itās worth mentioning to u .. please read it ..cuz I know u love sports romance š„°š„°š„°. I swear that just yesterday I was looking for recommendations videos of this trope and I was very disappointed that Laura (as my favorite booktuber who got me to start reading romance which Iāve loved for about 3 years now) didnāt upload a video of it, but THAN when I looked today… BAAM there it is! Divine intervention, pure luck or just a happy coincidence, you bet your *as Iām reading the heck out of these books
