Not pretending anymore by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward. God I love their books. Sorry I don't remember the characters names. The girl is looking for a new roommate but she wants a girl but none of the candidates are good. So a guy comes even though the ad said only girls. Anyway…. he convinces her and they become roommates. She is a nurse and she likes a doctor from the hospital she works. And the guy is into a coworker as well. So he has the idea that they pretend to be a couple so the coworkers notice them. And they end up falling for each other. It's pretty amazing.Another one is Most valuable playboy by Lauren Blakely. Here the guy is a professional football player. In a charity event he announces that his best friend's sister is his girlfriend. So they pretend to be a couple. He because his contract is ending and he needs to be taken seriously and her because with this newfound fame her business is thriving. And yes they end up falling in love for real. Here's another… You're the one by Layla Hagen. AMAZING! Friends to lovers. The guy is about to get deported so he asks her to marry him. Since they were best friends since they were kids she accepts. So they have to fake for the family and the government that they're together for the past year. And of course they realize that they actually are in love. 5 stars to all of them! Kay M. August 18, 2021 at 12:39 am I think you messed up Hermione & Lucinda when describing “On the Way to the Wedding”. Hermione is who Gregory falls in love with on sight and asks her best friend Lucinda to help him, but then eventually falls in love with her. 😊 Wee Lass With a Book August 18, 2021 at 12:39 am The Gravity of Us is just chefs kiss So many tears, so many emotions!
