Transcendence is such a great reason to make this list, so thank you! It’s one of my fave tropes too, and Savage Mafia Prince by Annika Martin fits the bill for this if you want a rec. It’s the third in a series but the previous books are just as good! ☺️ Oh and I guess Unloved by Katy Regnery is another one, I just remembered since you mentioned virgin hero lol.

Yess I also love this trope! Definitely need to read Transcendence asap (maybe I'll add it to my kindle clear out tbr)! This trope also reminds me of the hero from Pestilence by Laura Thalassa. He's very dark and untamed, but watching him learn what emotional and physical love feels like and go from this terrifying god to a man who is in awe of a mortal woman was a-ma-zing.

This is the rec list that I didn't know I needed 😆I keep adding books to my kindle instead of clearing them out too!

Hey The Free by K Webster also had that wild person learning to be in a “normal” world type feel. I love that as well. I love wild men 😍

Sawyer Bennett wrote a book called "Uncivilized"; it's about a guy who was somehow was lost in the Amazon as a child and was found years later. It definitely fits in with this type of character and books. It is also available as an Audio book as well. Happy reading y'all.

I read Ice Planet Barbarians (1st book), not the entire series, out of curiosity. And though I might not read all the books, I liked the first one a lot, especially the world set-up is so fascinating and beautifully written. 😍

I love, Men of the North. It's set in the future where the world is under matriarchy and some of the Men are similar to cavemen but more advance.

I hope you come back and keep checking comments even though you posted this a while ago. I've just newly discovered these romance blogs so I'm late to the party.
I'm an older long time romance reader and this has been one of my favorite tropes for a while.
First off, a huge yes to the books I've read that are on this list, Transcendence and Archers Voice in particular. I've read both multiple times and they get me every time.
I have the most perfect book for this list and I know you'll adore it. Wild at Heart by Patricia Gaffney checks every box. Its like a Tarzan retelling in a way except the hero was raised in Northern Ontario and wolves were his family.
He is captured and named The Wild Man and is given to this rather scatter brained anthropologist to study.
The anthropologist has a widowed daughter who meets 'Sam' as they name him and there is an instant attraction. The hero is so sweet and lonely and of course a virgin.
I've read this book many times over the years. In faCt I'm thinking its time for another read of it. So fingers crossed you see this comment and check the book out as I know it is a perfect example of this trope.
