Josh and Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating by Christina Lauren was one of my favourite rom/com of 2018. I too loved The Witness last year as my romantic suspense.

My favorite romances were All Your Perfects & The Kiss Quotient, but I also really loved Evidence of the Affair. I recently bought two Nora Roberts romantic suspense books & three Christina Lauren books, so I hope I love them! 🤞🏼

I typically don’t read romance, but I followed your suggestion and picked up a copy of On The Island and loved it. I didn’t know there was a sequel 😱❤️

Nora Roberts was one of the first authors I’ve read in high school more than ten years ago and I fell in love with her. My top two favorites by her are The Reef and Sweet Revenge. If you have the chance to read those please do! Those two books made me fall in love with reading 😊. I love your videos and I love your taste in book. You have really great recommendations. You’re the first person on booktube to recommend The island and Ive been wanting to get a copy badly. You make it sound so good!

Great picks Lisa! I THINK I ordered On The Island in my Black Friday order from Book Outlet, if not, I'm gonna have to find it either at my library or super cheap somewhere! I love Nora Roberts, she's one of my all time fave authors. I'd have to say my fave romance book from 2018 is The Duchess by Danielle Steel. I did a review (with spoilers) on my Goodreads page, but counted it as my first book read in 2019, as my old tablet died, had to go a week w/out one!! I hope you have a wonderful 2019! 😊💕

I loved, "On the Island ", I thought it was interesting that they were on the island long enough to problem solve and develop a real relationship. I really felt their struggle to survive. I haven't read the Mountain Between Us, but I did not by the love story in the film. Maybe it was the cold. I cannot function during winter so I guess it was harder to see a romance develop in the harsh conditions.

Whoa.. A bit of a spoiler there.. Did you have to tell us the protagonist witnesses her friend's murder? I've been watching your videos because there have been some great recommendations and I've never come across a spoiler before… but now I know too much about the Witness to want to read it.. 🙁
