Just finished Rhapsodic! It gave me major From Blood and Ash vibes, but I don't think the world building was quite as good as in From Blood and Ash.

Great romance is in Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare and it's way better then Mortal Instruments
Also everything by Rick Roirdan is a fantasy with romance ❤

I haven't been able to get through A Heart of Blood and Ashes yet. I got to a point where I was like "OK this is getting slow. I must be half way done." then my e-book was at like 25%. ☠

The Bridge Kingdom was a big disappointment for me, it was mostly battle scenes, and people in boats all the time, felt really repetitive BUT i loved The Traitor Queen, can't wait for Keris and Zarrah's story

Laura Thalassa's The Four Horsemen series is awesome. Pestilence was my introduction to her work and I was hooked. Thanatos or Death is the one I have been looking forward to, and that ending for Famine was too good and making me want Death's book even more than before.

For angel romances, I don't know if the series are good as I only read the first book but there's blackwings by Christina Henri, Spectra by Ami sumida (I'm sure there's an angel in it and it's reverse harem, not in the first book though), Hush Hush. And if you speak french, there's a series I love called Felicity Atcock by Sophie Jomain

Mistborn is a great great book! You follow Vin and the sweet lead-up to romance that admittedly is toward the end of the book, yet Vin is awesome!

I think you should definitely read the 2nd and 3rd books in the Bargainer series I'm actually rereading them right now. In the sequels you get more information about the fae world then you get in the first book I also enjoyed that they didn't go past too the present constantly like the first book did.

You should try the series of Tracy Wolf :Covet . Its the best I read the latest 3 books in one week! I'm still waiting on the next book that comes out later this year

I added Rhapsodic to my tbr and I have The bridge kingdom on my tbr as well! Do you know the book of Ivy by Amy Engel? It has a similar story to the Bridge kingdom and I think you will love it.
Also, love From blood and ash. Almost done reading it and then I will dive into book 2

If you like angel books definitely read the rest of the Archangel series by Nalini Singh. Theyre really good and the world building is epic

I read Rhapsodic and LOVED it. Then I read the second one. As a Black woman, I was so offended by the horrifically stereotyped Black best friend, Temper. The way she spoke made me furious, because it sounds like the only Black woman she’s ever heard speak was in a 90’s hood film or rap video. I’m not easily offended, but that level of stereotyping made me very angry. I did really enjoy The Bridge Kingdom and it’s sequel. I just recently picked up From Blood and Ash. Are you familiar with A Touch of Darkness? It’s a Hades/Persephone retelling I just picked up.

I’m soooo glad you mentioned the Blood and Ash series because I just finished The Crown of Gilded Thorns and it is what brought me to looking for more fantasy romance recommendations. I’ve read and loved the Dragon Actual series and a couple other really long series which usually included shifter enemy to lover and friend to lover kind of series but I think I might give the angel series a try.

The harbinger series by Jennifer armetrout is really good it has all the angel stuff like trueborns, fallens and archangel, it's actually a spin off series but i guess you can read it as it is.
