Haven't read much romantic suspense, but I'll be checking these out! I read some of this trope this year and really loved them. It was three books in Susan Stoker's BADGE OF HONOR: TEXAS series (Shelter For Elizabeth, Justice For Corrie, and Shelter For Quinn). The heroes are all first responders (firefighters/cops/etc). The heroines also usually have some kind of disability from what I've read so far. One heroine had agoraphobia (the fear of going outside), another one was blind, and the third had a port wine birthmark on her neck. You should check them out, if it sounds up your alley.

I've been really getting into romance lately which surprised me as I'm usually a thriller reader – but I'm loving diving into such a different genre. Never heard of any of these. Thank you for the recs!

I love mysteries, so this video is perfect! I thought the Kylie Scott one sounded like a great premise so I'm going to have to check it out.

Meg Cabot's Heather Wells series is a favorite of mine which is about an ex-pop singer turned resident hall advisor who has students turning up dead and she tries to solve their murders. It's kind of ridiculous at points but is also hilarious. On the not quite so light side, my favorite Nora Roberts is Montana Sky which is a romantic mystery involving three sisters all falling in love and cowboys. It has its flaws for being 25 years old, but it's so atmospheric with the Montana setting and I really adore the main characters.

One of my favorite Bridgerton books was In His Kiss because it combined historical romance and mystery all into one. I really want to dive more into that subgenre because it combines some of my favorite things, but so far I've really only read a few Christian historical romances with the mystery element. Some on my TBR are Jane Austen Murder Mysteries by Tirzah Price, Veronica Speedwell by Deanna Raybourn, and A Countess of Harleigh by Dianne Freeman. I may try to read one before the readathon is over!
