Ooh, I want to read Once Upon a Summer! Sounds perfect for me. And I'm glad to hear Secrets In The Mist was good.

My favorite books of August were the Maya Davis books by Erynn Mangum ❤️

I must admit I have quite a few C S. Lewis books on my TBR list, but had never been in a big hurry to read them. Your reviews have given me the challenge to pick one, and just start reading soon. Once Upon a Summer sounds interesting, and I've placed it on my TBR list. I haven't warmed up to the idea of reading steampunk yet, so Secrets In the Mist is not on my TBR list just yet. One of my favorite reads last month was the Ravenwood Saga, my first ever foray into fantasy. Thanks for your engaging reviews which inspire me want to read books outside of my usual genres, especially since my reading tastes have changed over the last few years.

I've never read retelling novels, but it may be worth looking into, so Once Upon A Summer could be up my alley. I've been in a real funk lately, and haven't read much. Still haven't read The Ice Swan, and don't know when I'll pick on it as I am taking time away from purchasing books of late.
I went on quite a reading spree at the end of August, so I'm sort of burned out. Favorite book I read in the past month is probably Distortion by Terri Blackstock, although Flight Risk ran a close second.
