John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

Romans 10:1 "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."

Psalm 86:15 “But you, my Lord, are a God of compassion and mercy; you are very patient and full of faithful love.”

1 John 3:23: "This is He's command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another."

1 John 3:1 “See what kind of love the Father has given to us in that we should be called God’s children, and that is what we are!"

    —————-

    Revelation 21:1-8

"Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away,

and the sea was no more. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,

prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying,

“Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people,

and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes,

and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore,

for the former things have passed away.” And he who was seated on the throne said,

“Behold, I am making all things new…"

    2 Peter 3:10

"But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly

bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed."

    Luke 23:43

And he said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”

I have really enjoyed DragonKeeper Chronicles by Donita K. Paul. It's a really great fantasy Christian series. I really enjoyed them, I think you might like them. 🙂 Thank you for some good recommendations, I'm adding them to my TBR.

The majority of Christian fiction I've read seem to aim to indoctornate, and I'm not cool with that.

'The Dark is Rising' by Susan Cooper. I'm sure someone has already recommended this book to you and if so please disregard it. I myself haven't read it yet but it was highly suggested to me.

New to your channel and agree that Christian fiction can be very formulaic! Sometimes that's comforting, but a little of that goes a long way. I do think the market demand for variety is creating change, especially for speculative fiction! I love both Nadine Brandes and Andrew Peterson!

Hi, Shantel! I enjoyed this video so much! A book I read recently that I would recommend is Lucia's Renaissance: A Novel of 16th-century Italy by C.L.R. Peterson. It's historical fiction set in Verona, Italy and Venice. There is an element of romance but it's not a romance. Amazing settings, historical events like plague and the Inquisition, characters well-drawn and sympathetic.

I just finished the Raven Trilogy based on your recommendation, and I enjoyed it so much. It reminded me that I need fiction and fantasy in my life. Love your channel. Thank you!

It follows a FBI detective and him solving murders. The books also involves his teenage step daughter and her ups and downs.

Mark Goodwin! Thrilling, thought provoking just an all around series you can't put down. I think"As in the days of Noah" is on YouTube but I fist read 7 cows ugly and gaunt. Pretty closely based on Revelation.

Thank you very much! The other videos under this search category weren't that helpful. this was the first one I found that has relevant, Christian engaging material. This was truly beneficial novel research for teaching Christian middle school!

The Last Sin Eater by Francine Rivers. It’s Historical Fiction but it does not follow the Romance trope formula. Strong themes of redemption pointing to Christ as the only salvation.

I think I wrote to you before about books from Og Mandingo. Not sure if you read any of his books but he is one author I recommend.
