Liam's statement that Madelaine came to him and proposed such an arrangement to let her be queen and he can do whatever he wants is disturbing. I mean, I get he thinks he's protecting the main character, but: One, it's a suspicious thing of Madelaine to ask, especially if she knows he loves someone else (IMO, she's basically admitting that she knows she already lost and is showing that her hand was directly/indirectly involved in the blackmail); Two, I get the Prince was scared, but he knows what kind of person the main character is, and if he TRULY loved her, he would think NO ONE ELSE but her is fit to be by his side as queen, REGARDLESS of the circumstances. (And by Madelaine proposing such an arrangement, she is showing a negative side that a person in power shouldn't possess).
All-in-all, he wants her to stay far away from it all, but I think it would've been a good, thrilling second book if he chose the main character and they combatted those trials and exposed the truth together, IN PUBLIC. (Come on Prince — I mean, being in a secret relationship as "THE mistress/other woman," while Madelaine is constantly taunting the girl in her face is a lot to ask of the main character…😪) Anyway, it'll be interesting to see how the book ends and who the REAL culprit is.

So it's not letting me play because it says the network is unable to connect. It lets me play any other story expect this book, and it was working fine until now. I'm wondering if anyone else has this problem and how can I fix it because I've had it before with another book and I had went and completed 5 other books and then found out I could play it again. I don't want to wait to play it, so if anyone knows how to fix this it'd be much appreciated.
