I would recommend bound by vengeance by Cora Reilly it’s the fifth book in the series it’s my fav and it can be read as a stand-alone such a good captor captive romance

I’m not gonna lie. I’m a real sucker for this trope. I like it best when they’re treated well, even though they’re a captive.

I enjoyed The Other Miss Bridgerton, its more of a light-hearted captor/captive one. She doesn't know who he is but he knows who she is. She doesn't get ruined coz her friend covers up her disappearance, most of the book takes place in his captain quarters on the ship, its rather adorable – her imagination runs away with her.

This isn't a trope I've read much of, so I'm not sure how I feel about it yet… But I got Forbidden from my library, with the intention of reading it in time!

Yes~ I love Pepper Winters books. Tears of Tess is really good but it does involve a lot of physical and mental abuse. Especially the second book “Quintessentially Q” and the books do connect in the same universe. “Monsters in the dark series, Goddess Isles series and Indebted series” by Pepper winters. All are fantastic but my favourite is the Goddess Isles Series~~ nice vid by the way! 🙂
