Happy belated birthday to you both! If your sister likes paranormal romance she should check out the Charlie Davidson series by Darynda Jones, Mercy Thompson/Alpha and Omega series by Patricia Briggs, Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews, and Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost. Laurell K Hamilton also rights a paranormal series about vampires and were-animals. The earlier books are my favorite and the series is really long but it’s a different take on paranormal urban fantasy. Romance doesn’t really come in to play until after book 3.
Those older historical are beautiful! I love the colors!!

I actually read dollar series by pepper winters where tess and Q have a cameo (of sorts) and I was going to read their story later but forgot about it….. It's only now that looking at these books here that I remember….. Thanks for reminding me and great video

You should try Make It Sweet by Kristen Callihan. It’s so good! The audiobook was fantastic. Highly recommend.

The soldiers books by Mary Balogh are the Survivors Club. I am reading that series now and love how the hero and heroines in them are so different and that their disabilities are not miraculously cured. Plus I think Mary Balogh has a lovely way of writing.

Did you know the HAUNTING ADELINE from H.D Carlton (set in a ‘haunted’ mansion, dark, gothic and spooky as hell romance, stalker that low key gave me the chills but I wanted him in my bed, was at the edge of my seat but in the best way possible) was banned in the first month of its release on Amazon? That’s how deliciously dark it is!
And also Vibe from Liza James has been banned as well for being too dark and smutty? They will most likely ban Hush since that’s WAY WAAAYYY darker than Vibe.

I love Jennifer Lynn Barnes's YA books. She has a knack for making characters come to life. I'm waiting to read The Inheritance Game until the sequel comes out in September.
