Liked before watching!!! There are a few many titles here that I didn’t get to in 2019 ughhh (Chloe Brown, Kingmaker). Some of my fave romances of the year were The Bride Test, Kulti, The Play, and Bromance Book Club!!

Yep, another vote from me for Kennedy Ryan's All The King's Men duet. An incredible introduction to her books.
Look the Part started out on the wrong foot for me because of the 'hero's' actions in the prologue and the whole 'he wants to evict her' despite knowing what her business was when he rented the office to her nonsense – I had NO patience for that and to me he was the epitome of total asshole. If it wasn't for the little boy I would have DNF'd that book. I also read two other books by that author this year as I really liked the premises and had issues with the 'hero's' behavior in them too…
OT – Cover's are not that important to me but the cover for Bitter Heat is STUNNING! TFS 🙂

Do you create the best of list at the beginning of the year and add the books as you read them or wait to curate the list until the end of the year? I want to do better at tracking ‘bests’ throughout the year rather than scrambling at the end of the year

So I’m still a NOOB to the Romance genre, SOO my resumé is tiny. I’d have a Walk to remember as my #1 for 2019

The Bride Test was def my favourite book of 2019 (& I think now, of all time). I loved it sooo much & I liked that I’ve also seen someone that actually preferred the bride test to the kiss quotient. I know many ppl that preferred the latter.
