You should 100% check out the podcast “hot and bothered”- it’s a podcast all about how writing romance novels is a hopeful and brave act! The host is incredibly pro romance novels and enlists her friends to write one. Each friend picks a romance trope to structure their story around and really cool conversations about love and relationships come from it- and every other episode is a general chat about relationships. Alyssa cole and other romance authors have been guests! It’s so thoughtful and touching and fun, I think you’d love it

Hey girl! Can we get smutty romance recs that don’t start with a girl going somewhere new and there’s some douchey hot dude who lives there who she’s forced to work with, then they go somewhere in there car and they’re so overwhelmed with sexual attraction that they just fuck out of no where, within the first few chapters LIKE CAN WE NOT 🙄😂 I love smut but too many start like that
