It's a smashing book and I think Joe thought he was being romantic… David's Book Reviews September 10, 2021 at 3:20 am Interesting video. It's surprising that I'm not into romance novels, as I'm a romantic person. I don't mind it as a side plot. I guess Christine, is the closest thing to a romantic novel I have read. Cherry Actually Reads September 10, 2021 at 3:20 am Personally, I prefer romances that are considered "unconventional," "dark," and "problematic," so this list is definitely perfect for my Valentine's Day! 🤣 Can I just say, I absolutely LOVE Forbidden (weird to say, but… BUT!). It was so beautifully written. Lochan and Maya are both such likable characters. So, I felt like a hollow shell of my former self after reading it. Have yet to read Flowers in the Attic, but I really want to give VC Andrews a try. Oooh, definitely reading You as well. Bookworm Adventure Girl September 10, 2021 at 3:20 am You describing these are hilarious! Love YOU and the second installment is great too. The third one comes out later this year. Stolen sounds creepy…. Sunny Luca September 10, 2021 at 3:20 am This video made me realize how ordinary the romances that I read are, lol! I think I could get into things that are weird and different, but it all depends on the execution, of course. Great video! MaryTheReadingRacoon September 10, 2021 at 3:20 am Love this concept! V entertaning 😀 The Reading Mushroom September 10, 2021 at 3:20 am Aaah. Isn't it unfortunate when your neighbours rip open your package with dirty books inside? 😂😆Thankfully that has not happened to me (yet). But the employees at the bookstore know my face and bring out the big English fantasy tomes whenever I come around without me having to say anything. 😅 Mel's Bookshelf September 10, 2021 at 3:20 am I skipped past transcendence the other day, I will have to give it another look! Great list! I’m a sucker for a sexy romance now and then! Lana ExLibris September 10, 2021 at 3:20 am I love this side of Lady Jane 😂😂 Joharis September 10, 2021 at 3:20 am I've been wanting to read transcendence, it sounds so cute Amy_Harbored In Pages September 10, 2021 at 3:20 am How can I possibly resist clicking on a title like "Let's Get Weird"!?My People!!! The Clan of Weird!**pictures little minions jumping for joy* Some Books and Sarcasm September 10, 2021 at 3:20 am I just found your channel and I really liked it! I like how you decribe the books. You say just the right amount that makes me want to read it but not too much so that i feel spoiled about the plot ^^ Looking forward to more recommendations! 😊 JekyllHydeClub September 10, 2021 at 3:20 am If you haven't read it, you may like Valentina y I think it's Fern Michaels. In the time of Richard the Lion Hearted but not about him really. Can't really get behind reading the bro/sis thing. I mean if it's Amber series sort I can work with it but otherwise just too nasty for me so while the others sound very interesting, I can't… LOL I did think VC Andrews, though, right before you said it. LOL. And I couldn't get into her. Morticia Charlie Ridley September 10, 2021 at 3:20 am Great video I really enjoyed this! I Read Stolen by Lucy Christopher when I was 15 and I loved it, I thought it was fascinating and it's probably what made me gravitate to dark romance as an adult. I also read Transcendence years ago and it was amazing, I actually found it super sweet and I was really rooting for Ehd and Elizabeth! I've also had Forbidden sitting on my borrowed book shelf for years, I keep meaning to get to it and you've just reminded me it exists so thank you! Laura OnAir September 10, 2021 at 3:20 am Wow… Transcenendce is intriguing! Traveling back in time is so charming in books. Thanks for all these book recommendations! DC Guevara September 10, 2021 at 3:20 am "Are these good, healthy relationships?!" People need to understand that sometimes, you just want a little weird/chaos factor in different romances 🗣 DEKLAN sounds EXACTLY like what i need rn omg OTHERWISE ALONE sounds… extremely my shit omfg Mason In The Dark September 10, 2021 at 3:20 am This video is just so Lady Jane and I love it. A neanderthal romance? Hmm sounds interesting but as a former sci-fi nerd and time travel enthusiast I can't help but wonder about the possible butterfly effect style consequences. Side note do you like the Butterfly effect film? "This was so steamy it had me blushing and I'm Lady Jane" followed by that sound effect was so damn funny. You know how much I love my SFX. There were some really intriguing recommendations here and although I wouldn't necessarily read them I'm glad I watched these videos and know they exist now. Samantha Holz September 10, 2021 at 3:20 am When I read You, I had to put it down after the fifth chapter. I was just overwhelmed by how convincing the characters voice was that I felt ill. I did come back and finish it and it was phenomenal. I can't even watch the series. But that's just a testament to how well it was written.
