I love your channel and find your book recommendations are excellent! Is there any way you can list the books you are recommending? I find that I have to relisten to your presentation with a notepad so I can take notes of all the books and it would be so much easier if you had them in a list somewhere. I looked at the Goodreads site thinking you might have them listed there but I couldn’t find them if I am just looking in the wrong place let me know

I loved doing historathon!
If you haven't yet, I think you would enjoy "To the Bright Edge of the World" by Eowyn Ivy. It follows an expedition exploring Alaska in the late 1800s through field journals, especially the expedition leader and his wife who had to (very disappointingly) stay home. There is also present day correspondence from a descendant of the main couple as he is donating a trunk full of archives to a museum in Alaska. It made me want to do a deep dive into the history…And now I want to read it again 😊.

Fun video! Historical Fiction is my favorite genre. I think auto buy authors for me are Amy Harmon, Kristin Hannah, Susan Meissner and probably Taylor Jenkins Reid.

I highly recommend, Sweet Home Alaska by Carole Etsby Stagg, and a book we got from Emily's reading crate box she did a few years ago. It was centered around Roosevelt's, ugh can't think of the name! Bill? About sending people to Alaska as the Last Frontier

I feel like these aren’t going to be the popular option, but I used to read Phillipa Gregory and enjoyed some of her books. And when aim was younger I read John Jake’s series North & South and loved that saga.
