FaeryLaume July 10, 2021 at 7:38 am I really, really dislike the five star rating system. I could work with a ten star sytem. I used to give almost no books a five star because I thought I needed to save that rating for only my favorite books ever. Now I've lightened up and if I enjoy the book, I don't worry about comparing it to other books, I just go with my personal experience. But gah, it's a bad system. Honestly, unless I really love or really dislike a book, I tend not to rate it at all. And oddly enough many of the books I enjoy the most have three star rating averages. I think that they tend to be quirky books that people have split opinions on and the average ends up in the middle.
