Thank you so much, Laken! I love your book descriptions. I’m pondering my answer. It’s hard when the majority of my reading is nonfiction. Without a doubt the Bible trumps everything, getting more specific. I’m not going to be any help, I’ll try to be prepared next time or I’ll check back in. I have taken screenshots of at least your number 6 to your number 1. Thank you! I’m not much of a fiction reader, unless it’s beneficial to my soul/life/etc. love, Susan near Chicago

I listened to Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man / Emmanuel Acho and Think Again / Adam Grant last week and they were both SO great.

I got lots of value from this video. Thanks for sharing! I’m off to add a couple of these to my TBR list. Do you follow back on Goodreads?

I think it’s so interesting that in the year you stopped buying books is the year you’ve read more than usual!

At the end of the school year we got to choose from a list of books from our principal that were about Islam, racism and/or indigenous people. I chose this one from your recommendation on it. I thought it was so thoughtful of a gift.

Yikes, maybe don’t refer to people without chronic illnesses as “regular humans” lol

Oh my days Laken, this video combined with your vlog from last week where you talked about typing up your notes has given me an idea. I am going to type my notes into excel. I’m going number the themes instead of colour coding. I’ll have a tab per book. Then I will be able to run a code to pull all the themes out into another sheet if I want, that way pulling all of your themes per books you have read wouldn’t be overwhelming. I can also slice and dice that info anyway i want, the possibilities are endless.

Thanks for sharing! Def adding some of these to my list. Don’t think I can get my husband to read a book but maybe I should read profit first on his behalf and the Butt my opinion into his business 🤣😂😅

RE: UnF*** Your Habitat… I felt the same way. If this was the first ever book on cleaning you’ve ever picked up, if you’ve never looked at cleaning Pinterest, or have never done a google search on cleaning then this book is for you. If you’ve been in the cleaning tips or inspiration world for a bit, you will not be learning anything you haven’t already. I felt like a of it was verrrrry similar to the Flylady method. But her commentary is fun and it has value if you’re just starting out.

I am an avid follower of dr. Gregers work and i implement hos suggestions. The cookbook is excellwnt and everyone should look into that, they are delicious. O would also strongly suggest everyone to follow his youtube channel called nutritionfacts – there is a plethora of videos on a lot of diseases (and more) and how you can prevent these with proper nutrition – all based on scientifoc publications. You can also find a lot of presentations of him on youtube!
