My favorite romance of the year was Get a Life, Chloe Brown but I also really loved Painted Moon by Karin Kallmaker which is a classic sapphic romance.

Adding Reign and Ruin to my list – thanks! I’ve been devouring Psi-Changeling series too. Looooved Caressed by Ice – and then I think books 10 through to 14 (I’m up to 15) have been an absolute Binge-fest of excellence – you can see how far Nalini Singh has come in her story telling, characterisation and world building.

My favorite was definitely A Lady's Guide to Celestial Mechanics!

Caressed by Ice sounds really interesting, I'm not typically a romance reader but I might need to read it.

Oh man. I thought I read a lot of romance yet I have not read one on this list. Never-ending TBR

I love, love, love the Psy-Changeling series! Where did you buy your UK editions through?

I am not a Romance reader, so I read only 3. Your recommendation "Radiance" was the best. I actively enjoyed it. It really was well balanced. In my private ranking ended up on the honrouble mention list (missing the Top list by little bit).
From the video: I am planning to read "Tempest", and I have "Reign & Ruin" and "Spoiler Alert" on the maybe.
Spoiler Alert premise is one I enjoy in movies. Ah! the days of Tom Hanks & Meg Ryan lool

I'm so excited to get to Crazy Stupid Bromance! And I'm really curious about Talia Hibbert's Christmas story. I'm hoping to read my first one of her books soon (I'm planning on starting with A Girl Like Her).

Lol you know you are truly an engaging, thoughtful & fun reviewer regardless of the book itself because I have hated literally every romance novel I have tried & have no intention of trying more of them, but I was so here for your enthusiasm thru this whole video 😄

I just started getting into romances in the last few months and I think my favorite was That Kind of Guy by Talia Hibbert – the male MC was demisexual and watching him slowly grow attracted to the female MC while pretending to fake date here just made my heart want to explode! Is that a metric we can use for romance haha? I swear my chest got tight sometimes and I cracked a big grin because they were so cute. And Hibbert still manages to make everything so steamy even while it's the cutest! I can see why more than one of her books landed on your top romances for the year.

I think I'm more into cute, small town romances rather than the soapy, dramatic romances because I read Let Me Love You by Alexandria House and it was SO SOAPY (I hope I'm using that term correctly)! The drama of it all was just a bit much for me, but it's been fun exploring a new genre and all the different types of romance there are, so I'm not complaining.

    Thanks for the video Bethany!

I just added a bunch of titles to my TBR, and I'm not mad about it! 😉

Take a Hint, Dani Brown was so good. I absolutely liked it A LOT better than Get a Life, Chloe Brown. I cannot wait to read Act Your Age, Eve Brown when it comes out although I'll be sad since it's going to be the final book in the series. 😢 I don't want this to end. Anyway, I have a personally important question for you. What are your thoughts on the lack of male romance Booktubers?
