I have read some of Father Brown Books and I have really enjoyed the ones I have read. I also have read some of Agatha Christie Books as well too. I have all of the Books in Anne Of Green Gables Series – I have read Anne Of Green Gables.

My County Library has New Books that they have listed on their Website – I went to the County Library which is 15 minutes from where I live at – I picked up my three Books that was put on Hold and 4 Real Magazines as well too. Two of the Books I finished reading and I am reading my third book from my County Library called Lalani of the Distant Sea by Erin Entrada Kelly. This is like a Middle Grade Book. It is really good. I am really enjoying this book.

I put 4 more books on hold this morning through my County Library. They will be coming in within a day or two and I can go pick them up.

I love going to my County Library and getting my Books – Audio Books – Magazines – CDโ€™s – Graphic Novels – they have everything there at my County Library. I mostly get Physical Books and Magazines. I can keep them for three weeks with two Renewals as long as there is not a wait on them.

Take Care & Happy Reading โค๏ธ๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿ”ฐ๐Ÿ“šโค๏ธ

Shirley Jackson is perfect for October! I'd also recommend anything from the Penny Dreadfuls collection.

Youโ€™re killing it with the fall aesthetic in this video! I love it.

I still havenโ€™t read Legion, even though I own it! I need to soon. We Have Always Lived in the Castle is definitely perfect for fall! I read it in January, but itโ€™s got a great gothic, spooky vibe.

Currently trying Anne of Green Gables based on your recommendation! Legion sounds interesting and maybe a good starting book for trying Brian Sanderson? Some of his other books you've talked about seem like a huge commitment when I'm not sure if I'll enjoy the genre.

I looove your sweater! This video single-handedly got me through a ton of dish washing. I also rewatched your autumn refs from last year! Thank you! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜„โค๏ธ I have recently got to go to a few thrift stores and thought of you while digging through the books. Maybe I watch too many of your videos?! Ha! Iโ€™m also loving LFLโ€™s! Iโ€™m very intrigued by Shirley Jackson (recently read part of her memoir on raising children- pretty funny), Father Brown, and want to give Goosegirl another chance. Have you tried Sweet & Spicy tea from Good Earth? I think itโ€™s a good one even non-tea drinkers may like?

The book A Place Called Perfect by Helena Duggan. Itโ€™s an upper middle grade but is extremely creepy.

What age do you suggest for Anne of green gables? I think I read it later in life. I want to read it with my daughter but maybe she's too young.

A favorite of mine (for Autumn) has been "Twilight" by Stephenie Meyers. What is super fun is now my Daughter is reading it aloud and so we are Reading it together. But, something about it has always given me Fall vibes. Perhaps it is all the wet/rain she so hates that I so love (Oregonian that I am). I also enjoy a Jane Austen in the fall (usually Emma, Sense and Sensibility, or Pride and Prejudice). Those are my top two oldies. This year, I am feeling a sci-fi vibe so I am going to be reading "Elantris" and I am leaning towards either "War breaker" or maybe "The Martian (which would all be re-reads). Maybe, I will find something new..but definitely feeling sci-fi vibes fore this Autumn.

I disagree that if youโ€™ve read Shirley Jackson, youโ€™ve probably read The Lottery. At least based on my experience, but Iโ€™ve literally never heard of that. I have, however, read The Haunting of Hill House, which you didnโ€™t even mention ๐Ÿ˜‚ but that I would say is probably her most well-known work. But maybe thatโ€™s just me.
